SERENA WANTS DREAM TO CONTINUE

After winning two gold medals in the London Olympics, Serena Williams has said that she doesn’t want to relax even a single bit and she wants to continue her dream run throughout this season. Serena performed brilliantly in the London Olympics and won the Gold medal both in the singles and the doubles competition. Serena won her maiden Gold medal in the singles competition by defeating Maria Sharapova in the final.

On being asked about her future plans, Serena said that she has played a lot of tennis in the last few days. So, she wants to have rest for a few days. Serena confirmed that she would participate in the Cincinnati tournament. As per Serena, after playing so much tennis on the grass courts in the recent times, she doesn’t want to go into the US Open without having match practice on the hard courts. So, she has decided to take part in Cincinnati tournament.

Serena had been struggling with her health in the beginning of the season, but, she made a fantastic comeback by winning the Wimbledon Championship last month and she continued her form in the Olympics as well. On being asked whether she would participate in the 2016 Olympics which will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Serena said that she would definitely take part in the next Olympics if she remains fit till that time. But, she wants to play for a few more years and she would work hard on her fitness.
